"You Can Plan A Pretty Picnic...

... But You Can't Predict the Weather"

Kari & Adam had an extra surprise on their late March maternity shoot... snow!

While I'm a fan of light snow, the wind got quite gusty, and the snow much more abundant. Adam & Kari made the decision to postpone the rest of the shoot (a rarity).

In the end, we ended up getting crazy snow shots and beautiful sun-filled shots, on 2 consecutive weekends! It was a reminder that Jersey weather isn't always predictable; But isn't that part of the fun?

Session 1 : The Start

Light snow was coming down. We were cold, but it was completely worth it (at this point). Kari is glowing!

It's getting worse...

Still doable, but we can no longer feel our fingers. The wind has also picked up.

Is this really March??

... and worse!!

We're officially frozen. Adam & Kari are quickly turning into snowmen. There's no sign of letting up. We waive the white flag.

Session 2: Same Location, One Week Apart

The sun was present and abundant during this session. A sight for sore eyes, it was amazing to see after a long winter! Kari was already glowing, and the sun really highlighted that.

So What's the Takeaway?

Beautiful photos can be captured in multiple weather conditions. Photos capture more than an image. They capture a moment, a dream, emotion, and most importantly, a glimpse into the very soul of a client.

Best wishes to Kari & Adam on their greatest adventure yet <3
